Once installed, a new item called Authors is added to your Admin Menu. Below that item you will see the Settings option. Click on it to open the plugin settings page. There you have all the options you need to configure how you want the plugin to work. Keep in mind that some of those settings can be overridden by more specific post and user settings —available on their edit screens.

For you convenience, plugin settings are grouped into tabs: Author Box, Guest Authors, Co-authors, Users, More, Advanced and Shortcodes.

Author Box

Elements to hide
Any HTML id or class you specify here will be hidden on the front-end. This might be handy to hide any author box your theme displays without the option to remove it.
Accepts comma-separated HTML elements IDs or Classes.
Available since version 2.0.7.

Keep configuration?
Whether to keep plugin configuration settings upon plugin uninstalling. Set it to “Yes” if you plan to install the plugin again in the future.
Accepts “Yes” or “No”.
Defaults to Yes.
Available since version 1.0.0.

Keep data?
Whether to keep plugin related data upon plugin uninstalling. Set it to “Yes” if you plan to install the plugin again in the future.
Accepts “Yes” or “No”.
Defaults to Yes.
Available since version 1.0.0.

Advanced

Post typespremium
Allows you to choose which post types to extend the plugin functionality to
Defaults to posts and pages.
Available since version 2.0.0.

License

This tab holds all the settings related to the premium license. This is where you have to come to set your license key in order to activate your key.

License Keypremium
Insert here the key we provided upon premium plugin purchase.
Available since version 1.0.0.

License PINpremium
Insert here the PIN provided along with your key.
Available since version 1.0.0.

Activate/Deactivatepremium
Button that allows you to submit your credentials to activate your key. Or deactivate an already active key so you can use it on another installation. Be aware that the plugin will no longer work on the current installation unless you reactivate the license.
Available since version 1.0.0.

Keep on deactivation?premium
Whether to keep license credentials upon plugin deactivation. Deactivating the license releases it so it can be used on another website but also removes it from this one, so should you reactivate the plugin, you will need to set again your credentials. Regardless of the value of this setting, the license will be released when uninstalling the plugin.
Accepts “Yes” or “No”.
Defaults to Yes.
