In order to work properly, the Molongui Authorship plugin needs to store some data in your database. Information you enter like author names, descriptions, social profiles and plugin settings are stored in your database.
When deactivating or uninstalling the plugin, all that data is kept by default. Why? Well, just in case you start using the plugin again in the future.
However, a well-developed plugin should include an option in their plugin’s settings to do a complete uninstall. And so does the Molongui Authorship plugin. It is important before you simply deactivate and delete Molongui Authorship, that you ensure you are doing it in the most efficient manner.
So if you want to uninstall Molongui Authorship and you are absolutely sure that you won’t need it anymore in the future, it is a good idea to configure the plugin to remove all Molongui Authorship data while uninstalling it. To do so, just follow these simple steps:
- Go to Molongui > Authorship Settings > Main > Uninstall
- Switch On the toggles to enable plugin settings and data removal upon plugin deletion.
- Click the Save Settings button to save the changes.
That’s it! Now all the data added by the Molongui Authorship plugin will be removed when you uninstall Molongui Authorship.
