One Post, Multiple Authors
Multiple authors worked on a post? Molongui Authorship allows you to easily assign multiple authors to a single post and properly credit to everyone involved for their contribution.
Intuitive Interface
After installing the plugin, you will notice that a new Authors panel is added to your Edit Post Screen.
By default, it shows the name of the author who added the post to your WordPress. You can remove it and/or add additional authors by clicking on the drop down menu and selecting the one of your choice. Once you are done, you can rearrange the order of the author list just by a simply drag and drop.
Byline Compatible
Your post bylines will display all post’s authors name out of the box. And each of them will link to their author page.
However, Molongui Authorship allows you to change that behavior and make the byline display just a given number of names and remove the link.
Author names linking to author pages might fail in some themes. In such case, open a support ticket with us and we will be happy to help.
Author Pages Integration
Author pages list all posts written by a given author. And Molongui Authorship makes sure to include that author’s co-authored post in that list.
Author Box Compatible
Display post authors’ information in a fully customizable author box at the bottom of your content. Molongui Authorship allows you to decide whether to display it in a single author box or in as many as authors the post has.
In order to ensure full compatibility, it is recommended to use Molongui’s Author Box instead of the one provided by your theme.
SEO Friendly
The author meta tag is updated to give the name of every contributor to the post. And you can configure whether to include all author names in a single author tag or add a different tag for each name.
WP REST API Integration
authors field is added to the post object so developers and external applications can get authorship information also for multi-authored posts.
